Previous research has already established that the meaning of life plays a crucial role in the lives of individuals. Within the realm of matrimony, this concept gains further importance.
In the present research, we administered several assessments, including the Purpose in Life Test (PIL), logo therapy, and the Marital Communication section of the ENRICH assessment, to a sample of fifty-seven married couples. The utilization of these instruments aimed to provide a comprehensive understanding of the connection between the meaning of life and marital communication.
The results of the study brought to light a significant relationship between marital communication and the meaning of life. This implies that the way spouses communicate within their marriages is intricately linked to the broader concept of finding meaning and purpose in life. These findings contribute valuable insights to the existing body of knowledge, emphasizing the interconnectedness of existential aspects and interpersonal dynamics within the context of marital relationships.
